About Me
I am an Associate Professor of Economics and Dana Professor of Business at West Texas A&M University, where I joined the faculty in 2011. I received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Georgia in 2011 and a B.A. in economics/mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006. My research focuses on applied microeconomics and applied econometrics with emphasis on health economics. My publications include articles in Journal of Regulatory Economics, INQUIRY: The Journal of Health Care Organization, Provision, and Financing, Applied Economics, Journal of Financial Regulation and Compliance, and Eastern Economic Journal. I have taught courses on microeconomic theory, economics of health care, international economics, industrial organization, and principles of microeconomics. I am also a member of the American Economic Association and the American Society of Health Economists.
