
About Me
I am the Dana Professor of Business and Professor of Economics at West Texas A&M University, where I joined the faculty in 2011. I also currently serve as Director of Continuous Improvement and Economics Discipline Coordinator in the Engler College of Business. I received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Georgia in 2011 and a B.A. in economics/mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006. My research focuses on applied microeconomics and applied econometrics with emphasis on health economics. My publications include articles in Archives of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, Journal of Applied Economics, Preventive Medicine Reports, Journal of Regulatory Economics, INQUIRY: The Journal of Health Care Organization, Provision, and Financing, Applied Economics, Journal of Financial Regulation and Compliance, and Stroke, among others. I have taught courses on microeconomic theory, economics of health care, international economics, industrial organization, and principles of microeconomics. I am also a member of the American Economic Association and the American Society of Health Economists.
